The Dash has an ambient microphone in the left and right ear phone. It records, when needed, a wide frequency range, from engine noise to birds singing. The ambient microphone is used to create the transparent audio feature.32 bit ARM Processor To ensure a smooth user expereince, we have built a low power 32 bit ARM processor into each Dash.  .THE DASH | WIRELESS SMART EARPHONES The Dash is the name given to the world´s first wireless smart in ear-headphones. The sleek earphones can be paired with a smartphone or mp3 player, or if you can´t be bothered to carry a device, you can use the embedded 4GB/1000 song music player. It also works as a fitness tracker, tracking your pace, steps, cadence and distance, and as a hart rate monitor measuring your heart rate, oxygen saturation and energy spent. It also doubles as a Bluetooth Headset, with clear voice quality delivered through the embedded ear bone microphone. You can also enable or disable noise isolation with a swipe on the capacitive touch surface. Oh, and it works underwater! watch the video .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Analog Frontend with 22bit ADC The analog to digital converter (ADC) is used to translate analog information into digital information the ARM processor understands. More bits enables us to have a higher resolution of the incoming signal, and thus better measurements. The ADC is connected to the optical sensor and enables the pulse and oxygen saturation readings.LED Lightring The LED lightring does not only make The Dash look cool. It shows you when the headhones are charged, are pairing or helps you find them when you lost them in the dark.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Thermometer Measuring body temperature is necessary to understand the effect of environmental conditions on the body. The body is usually very effective in maintaining core body temperature in a narrow and safe range. The data is used to calculate pace and distance while running, cadence while biking or the number of laps in the pool. 5 Field Capacitive Sensor The interface to The Dash is a touch sensitive surface much like a trackpad. It registers taps, horizontal and vertical slides. The Dash is easy to use, even when running or cycling. 4GB Flash Storage The Dash features a music player. It has 4GB of storage (equivalent to 1000 songs), 4 playlists and shuffle function keep you entertained. The Dash supports mp3 and AAC formats (without DRM protection). The flash storage is used to store your measured body data and tracked movements. Music can be uploaded through a USB 2.0 connection.Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX® No Cables attached! The Dash uses the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology to connect to your phone and sounds awesome since it supports the CSR aptX® audio codec for high quality audio.
